I haven't done a journal entry in a long time!
Right now, I'm almost done with my poetry book! My family might possibly murder me when they read it, but at least its almost there. Thats the important thing.
Except that now I need to think about making the cover.
Eeeep.
I want to draw the cover myself, but I want it to be nice and... well... nice!
I like my drawings, but I don't know how nice they'd be on a book cover, ya know?
Soooo I not only have to decide what to draw for the cover, I also have to decide how to draw it so it turns out ok.
I mean, I've only got one cover. Its the first thing people notice. I don't wanna screw it up.
And I could just leave the cover with no image and just one color, but how boring would that be?
I was thinking of drawing myself and a bunch of people I care about (minus their eyes tho lol), or drawing two or three girls with completely different emotions on their faces (the book will be called Emotions: A Book of Poetry unless I completely change my mind). But I'm not sure.
And I have to organize it all and figure out the copyright stuff and find $45 for the copyright and wait for months and months.
Grrr. Too much pressure.
At least its almost done though. And however it turns out, I'm proud of it.
